A personal exploration of the sequences and subroutines in Ramaswami's Complete book of Vinyasa yoga.

VINYASA KRAMA YOGA, sequences and subroutines.
This is an ongoing project, my plan being to constantly update the videos presented here with newer, more accurate and hopefully more accomplished presentations of the Sequences and subroutines in Srivatsa Ramaswami's book, as well as adding notes to the individual postures and sequences.
NOTE
This blog has only just gone LIVE and may be suffering teething problems as I attempt to upload the 120 odd videos of sequences and subroutines over the next couple of weeks. Please let me know if you notice any videos that have been attached to the wrong post or anything else that is clearly unintended.
Most of the videos posted right now are early attempts at the sequences and subroutines and wont correspond exactly to the instructions in Ramaswami's book. I'll try to point those cases out in the post and eventually get around to re-filming the clips.

Hi! Great job with the posters! Is this "On your feet" sequence in any way the same as the Tadasana challenge you posted in the form of YouTube videos earlier this year? I can see that some of the poses in the beginning are the same at least, but with my abysmal internet speed I just didn't have it in me to wait for the whole YouTube sequence to load. I'm kind of interested in trying the Tadasana 2-week challenge though (a little late, I know) so would love to know whether this whole sequence went into the videos you made - or possibly, until which pose the 10-minute and 20-minute sequences ran. I was just wondering how to do the challenge when I can't take the internet with me to where I practice - but with these posters it might be a lot more possible!
Hi, it kind of is. For some reason we started calling it tadasana, probably because 'on your feet' is such a lame name. This full 'On your feet/tadasana' sequence takes about forty minutes but I tend to do a shortes ten minute version before every practice, Ashtanga or Viniyasa krama.
I'll make up a a poster of the shorter version and post it here this weekend.
There you go, just posted the shorter version.
Thank you, that's fabulous!
Grimmly, this is excellent!
This is so helpful. Thank you for all your time and thought! It is one of the most encouraging things in my life to have this available. ^_^
Thank you Debbie, means a lot to hear you find it useful.
